North Dakota wineries

Cruv doesn't divide North Dakota into wine regions, so its tasting rooms share one map, in Fargo on the Red River and in other towns. Cruv's map shows who is open before you make the drive.

Wineries in North Dakota

North Dakota has no federally designated American Viticultural Area (AVA). North Dakota Tourism's winery listings include Fargo on the Red River, Minot in central North Dakota, Dickinson in the west and other towns, and they name no wine region. Winemakers here use cold-climate grapes and local fruit, berries and honey. NDSU's Carrington research center planted a trial vineyard of northern-hardy grapes in 2006 and 2007. Plan a designated driver, a rideshare or a tour for each tasting day.

Cruv groups places by wine region where a state has established ones, and North Dakota has none in its list yet. Open the app to see every place Cruv lists here on the map, with what is open now and upcoming events.
