Know before you go

Reservations
Some tasting rooms open daily and others only part of the week, and hours can change with the season; larger groups should reserve.
Tasting fees
Expect a tasting fee for a few short pours. In many cases, buying wine waives it.
Getting there
From Seattle, take Interstate 90 or Highway 2 over Stevens Pass; both routes finish on Highway 97A. You can also fly into Wenatchee's Pangborn Airport.
Best time to visit
Spring is sunny, with average highs in the 60s, before the summer heat. Summer is the busy season, and fall brings harvest festivals.
Getting around
Beyond the two downtowns, other wineries sit farther out along the shores and hillsides. Have a designated driver, a rideshare or a tour lined up.

The calendar runs from wine walks and wine-and-chocolate pairings to fall barrel tastings and winter and holiday celebrations.
